I started by introducing one very useful website called MetLex- metlex.io-that I use to identify promising DLMM pools. Once on the site, here’s what I recommend doing:

First, click the DLMM button and filter, setting “5 minute” volume greater than zero to help eliminate coins that aren’t getting enough trading activity. While you can sort by things like 24-hour fees or market cap, I actually prefer looking at the pools in their default listing.

I then showed how to analyze the pools using a couple of examples. First of all, I took a look at the SUN / SOL pool that had around 650k in TVL. However, for this one specifically, upon deep diving into this on the DEX screener, there was some suspicious warning: the ratio of liquidity against market cap was suspiciously bad, and also the liquidity had not been burned. I personally would not deposit money in that one since all signs pointed toward a potential scam.

Thus, next was this pool, SWAMS, that looked so much more legit with close to 150k in TVL, and a very attractive 60% 24-hour fee-to-TVL. When I pulled it out onto the DEX screener, the token has a great swing trading pattern; that’s basically what I was looking for. I was somewhat justifying the fact that this might be added to my watchlist for more in-depth review, because of the fact that support levels appear strong and an overall good spot to provide liquidity.

I also wanted to give some pro tips of how to utilize MetLex most effectively. So you can filter by minimum/maximum liquidity in case you want a particular type of pool sizes and sort different metrics such as volume. So, for example, when it comes to 5-minute recordings, I observe the volume over PENGU/USDC.

And then at the very end, I said something super exciting, and that’s because I think Meteora may be doing an airdrop to those using the DLMM function to provide liquidity. Now, given Meteora is actually made by the Jupiter team, I would expect this to be a quite large airdrop, probably on par with Jupiter’s.
